I was born into a family where entrepreneurship wasn’t just what we did, it was who we were. Around our dinner table, over plates of chicken and dumplings, business strategies were debated and dreams took flight. My grandfather, a man of few words but endless wisdom, taught me that “if you take care of people, they’ll take care of you.” My father showed me how to combine big-picture vision with the tenacity to see it through.
But my journey wasn’t a straight line from family legacy to success. After building and losing businesses, battling addiction, and finding my way back through faith and recovery, I discovered that our greatest setbacks often become the foundation for our most meaningful work. Today, I help entrepreneurs and leaders transform their struggles into strength, their failures into wisdom, and their setbacks into comebacks.
